I got this as entertainment for my indoor cat. It was easy to put together and the suction cups are strong and I¡¯m confident that it can hold little birds but probably not a squirrel. The drainage holes are a big plus so it doesn¡¯t fill up with water.

Very nice bird feeder! We have several window feeders for birds, and noticed immediately that it does indeed have strong suction cups. It is one of the things that makes this a great window feeder. Cleaned the window and the suction cups prior to placing on the window and they adhered to window well. Birds were using the feeder within minutes of putting it up. Another benefit of this feeder is the weatherproof top especially in NE where we get a lot of snow. I also love that the center port for water or food. Nice addition to this bird feeder as most don¡¯t have a port for water. Other benefits are the birds can perch or go right into feeder. Out Eastern Phoebe likes to peck on the perch, we can hear her from inside the house even when the curtains are drawn. We¡¯ve seen several different birds enjoying this feeder. Cardinals, Chickadees, Eastern Phoebe, Wrens, Blue Jays and even Doves. I highly recommend.

The first thing I noticed was it was a lot bigger than I expected. Nice, big, clear and strong. There’s the big wide open front and on each side there is an access point for the birds too. It was very, very easy to install. I’ve tried a number of window feeders but they were small and dinky. THIS is the birdfeeder you MUST have! It’s fantasctic! You need to make sure the window surface is nice and clean otherwise it won’t stick. The dirt, however little there may be, will interfere with the suction cups. If you look at the collage I made you’ll see we got a few purple finches, chickadees, and a female purple finch standing lookout for the male purple finch. We’ve also gotten a titmouse and a cardinal but we were slow to get the camera out. Oh and if all that doesn’t convince you then you should know it also has our indoor cat’s seal of approval. He’s King Thor Thunderpaws! A little pic of him with the birds is also attached. I highly recommend this birdfeeder. I’m soooo happy!

Fantastic Mr Crafts Window Bird Feeder! It is a great product for a bird feeder that hangs on the window and allows you to see the birds sitting in your living room or any room in the house. The product comes with great suction cups that hold it tight to the window or wherever you place it. It is made very well and is durable. The bird feeder is big enough for the bigger birds to get in, and the roof that comes with it keeps the seed from getting wet.

No excuse for a product that weighs just a few ounces.Other than that, these window prisms, activated by sunlight, work wonderfully well. If the sun is blocked by clouds or even mild overcast, well forget it. But how else? Prisms that bend sunlight and rotate from solar power¡ well, they need sun!Having said that, in good unobstructed sunlight these solar-powered prisms put on a grand light show in any room they are placed. I bought all three models and they all work very well. Of course, the double prism model puts out the most.¡®recommend placing in an east-facing kitchen window for a wonderful breakfast lightshow.

I got this bird feeder for my parents to enjoy while sitting in their kitchen. They attached it to the kitchen window where they watch larger birds such as blue jays and doves come to visit. It is made of a thin plastic material and includes instructions how to piece together and install. The suction cups are very strong and once installed it does not move. This feeder is great! The suction cups are strong and have not come off since I installed it to our window. We had a pretty bad thunder storm the other day and I debated if I should take it down so the wind wouldn’t break it. I decided to leave it alone and it stayed put. Lots of trees lost their branches but the window feeder stayed put. I would suggest putting it on a window that is over grass vs concrete. This feeder is plastic and it would probably break if it fell on a hard surface. Regardless, I would buy this cute window feeder again. The tray come out easily, it has little holes on the tray to drain any water from rain. it has a perch for the birds to rest on , and it’s perfectly clear so you get a good view of the birds enjoying their meal. The best part is watching my four cats watch the birds and the occasional chipmunk. How that little bugger gets into the feeder I don’t know. He is certainly entertaining to watch. Anyway, I would most definitely recommend buying this feeder.

Excellent for bird watching! This feeder is well made. Perfect for any glass window. It’s sturdy, easy to fill and clean, and has yet to fall off. Two woodpeckers hung onto it, and it stayed. Also had a pair of mourning doves and they fit just fine. We love watching the birds in the morning and this feeder gave us more reason to sit and watch them with a second cup of coffee.

But I loved the idea of being able to watch birds close up through the window, so I ordered this item.This feeder is really nicely designed and easy to assemble and install in minutes. The suction cups are strong and have lasted through a couple of severe storms already. I love that it is crystal clear to provide an unobstructed view of feeding birds. It has small drain holes that allow water to drain while holding even small seeds in the feeder. There is a section without drain holes that I’m guessing is for water. But we have a bird bath in our yard so I won’t be putting water in this one.The only thing I have been disappointed about with this feeder is that birds can’t seem to find it. I haven’t had one bird come and feed from it yet in three weeks. We have dozens of birds at our other feeders like clock-work every day, but they just can’t seem to see this one. I even tried letting the other feeders remain empty and just filling this one to see if they would find it, but, so far, no luck. I’m hoping this will change.Based on the quality and price of this item I rated it 4 stars. I’m not down rating it because birds haven’t found it yet. However, the price has almost doubled since I ordered this, so I’m taking off one star for that.If you like the idea of watching birds feed at your window, this is a great product, and is as described. The bird feeder was very easy to install. I just cleaned the window with a mild soap and water solution, then attached the suction cups to the feeder and pressed them firmly onto the window. So i’m on feeder number 6. Biggest problem is squirrels trying to get in and then they break the feeding tray because they cause it to fall off. Usually use command strips to hold in place. This feeder is much different. It’s a very low profile feeder and right away you can see that a squirrel is not going to fit in it. The perch is nice. A single strong rod that snaps into the feeding tray (and it’s not coming out once you snap it in). What I like is that the feeding tray just doesn’t lay in the feeder. You have to tilt the front up, slide it under the tabs in the base, and then pull down, locking it into place. A big plus. It has taken my wife a few tries to get the tray in and out, but like i said, you have to get used to it. For the money, it’s a great little feeder.

We have seen finches, sparrows, and even a few cardinals enjoying the seeds that we have placed outside over the course of the previous several weeks. Due to the roomy design, it is possible for numerous birds to eat at the same time, which results in a scenario that is rather fascinating. I feel that the breadth of the feeding tray and the abundance of seed capacity are two factors that contribute significantly to the fact that it has become a hotspot for the birds that live in our area. Keeping the birds healthy and happy requires that the feeder be simple to clean and refill, which is crucial for the birds’ well-being. Because it is removable, the tray makes it easy to remove any old seeds and clean away any residue that may be present. As far as I can tell, washing it once a week is sufficient to maintain it in excellent condition. Additionally, the material does not leave stains or hold scents, which is a good thing.

Not a problem for me, but for someone without a smart phone i just wanted to note that.The product is solid, made well, easy to put together.There are 3 compartments so you can easily put different feed for different species.Easy to clean.Im very happy with the purchase.

I love bird feeders and the bird watching that comes with it and always striving for a closer view. This clear bird feeder is perfect for my bird watching entertainment. This is my third clear window feeder and I¡¯ll say it is in the top for quality and effectiveness. What makes it stand out is it has 4 suction cups to secure it to the window allowing it to stay put. One of the feeders I had only had 2 suction cups and fell and broke within a few months as opposed to the feeders with 4 cups which I have never had any issues with it slipping or moving at all. The materials are good quality making it very sturdy and it is easy to put together. The feeder has holes in the bottom allowing drainage without allowing the seed to fall through. Very happy with my purchase, great value, simple to attach to window, will definitely be purchasing more for my other windows.
